Welcome to Jaspertown baybee
Some practice:
Em & strong
This is how you emphasize text. This is important for accessibility, and is different from making text bold or italic with CSS.
Parents & children
This paragraph is a sibling of the above paragraph. They are at the same nesting level. They're both children of the body tags.
Bold & italic
This is bold text. It's used to draw attention without implying emphasis. It is less semantic than italic text, which is for conveying a different mood or tone but not emphasis (that's what em is for).
Lists
Unordered list
- An unordered list
- Is suitable for shopping lists,
- As the items are in no particular order.
- Each item has a bullet point.
- You could also write
- a haiku with such a list.
- (poems are not my thing)
Ordered list
- Ordered lists
- Are good for rankings
- Or step-by-step instructions,
- But not so much for to-do lists.
- Then you're better off with a checklist :)
